Cleaning the bathroom is surely far from your favorite thing, and it can turn into a toxic nightmare at times. This does not refer to the dirty mess which can be crated, but to the cleaners full of toxic chemicals that we use.
Namely, the biggest part of the common cleaners we use contain bleach and a number of other harmful chemicals.
The procedure of using them in order to clean the bathroom is simply extremely dangerous for your health, as you cannot protect yourself from the toxic vapors.
Therefore, we will reveal a way to make your cleaning a less toxic task, and it will undoubtedly make your life easier.
The natural recipe that we suggest is cheap and really effective, as it can help you whiten and clean your grout and tiles in a completely chemical- free way.
Moreover, it is really easy and quick!
All you will need are the following three ingredients:
- A quarter cup of hydrogen peroxide
- One tteaspoon of liquid dish soap
- Half a cup of baking soda
Method of preparation:
The procedure of making this powerful cleaning mix is extremely easy, as explained above. All you need to do is to combine the ingredients in a small squeeze top bottle.
How it works:
The hydrogen peroxide will whiten and clean the stains and tiles naturally, and the baking soda will scrub all the stains and water accumulation in between the tiles.
In the case of not very hard stains, just apply the mix on a soft wet sponge and use it to clean the tiles and bathroom. Scrub the areas and rinse with water.
On the other hand, for a deep clean, apply the mixture on the grout and tiles and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. It will dissolve all the dirt and water build up and it will make it easier for you to scrub it away. Rinse, and repeat the process once more where there is still some dirt or hard water residue.
In order to keep it looking good and spotless after you have removed all the stains and your grout and tiles, and if you want to save yourself from the trouble of scrubbing again, you should prepare the following solution:
Mix water and vinegar in a ratio 1:1 and pour it in a spray bottle next to the shower. After you take a shower, spray it down with this solution. You won’t need to repeat this procedure every day, but 2-3 times a week will make a lot of difference.
